OneNotch supports Apple silicon Macs running macOS 15 or later. It has layouts for MacBooks with a notch, displays without a notch, and external displays.
No. Free is not a trial and you do not have to pay to keep using it. You can save up to 50 copied items for 24 hours and use one board. The 24-hour limit applies only to history retention. Pro is optional and offers more storage and advanced features.
Pro expands history to 1,000 items, lets you choose how long to keep them, and supports up to 20 boards with 200 items each. It also adds iCloud sync between your Macs, advanced capture and markup tools, the full dictionary, and calendar summaries and new events for any day. One license covers up to two Macs.

Each permission enables a specific feature: Accessibility for pasting and arranging windows, Screen Recording for captures, and Calendar and Reminders for viewing and creating events. You can manage them in macOS System Settings.
The AI panel tracks Claude Code and Codex running in a terminal through command-line integrations and hooks. It shows sessions, progress, and approval requests. It does not track the Claude or Codex desktop apps.
